Settlers Green Bring A Friend 2026: North Conway's Big Shopping Week, Nov 6 to 11

If your holiday shopping usually starts the day after Thanksgiving, North Conway offers an earlier option. Settlers Green, the tax-free outlet center in the Mount Washington Valley, runs its Bring A Friend event from Friday, November 6 through Wednesday, November 11, 2026. Settlers Green bills it as "the biggest shopping event in New England," with daily in-store events, exclusive offers, raffles, entertainment and gift card giveaways.

Here is what the event pages list, and how to plan around the busiest day.

The dates

• Bring A Friend: Friday, November 6 through Wednesday, November 11, 2026
• Flagship Day: Saturday, November 7, 2026, with stores open 8 AM to 8 PM

Settlers Green says the Flagship Day is the biggest day for entertainment and activities, and warns shoppers to "expect Black Friday level busyness with a fun, celebratory atmosphere."

The bag giveaway at 8 AM

The best-known tradition happens at 8 AM on Saturday, November 7, when 1,000 Bring A Friend bags are handed out on The Green. The line starts on The Green near Timberland, and Settlers Green suggests getting in line around 7:30 AM. Bags are free and limited to supplies on hand.

According to the event FAQ, each bag holds a coupon book, exclusive offers, swag items and products, with a stated value of $30 or more. Settlers Green says the bags handed out in line are the same style as the ones reserved in advance, with the same or similar gifts and samples.

The $10 Pick-Up Passes, which reserved a bag for collection at any time during the event, are sold out for 2026. So if you want a bag and did not buy a pass, the 8 AM line on Saturday is the only way to get one.

Flagship Day schedule, Saturday, Nov 7

The Settlers Green event page lists these highlights:

• 8 AM: Bag giveaway on The Green, plus free donuts hosted by the local nonprofit Children Unlimited, while supplies last
• 8 AM to 5 PM: Free raffles for merchandise and gift cards. Enter by scanning a QR code at Customer Service or on raffle signs around the center. Winners are drawn every hour.
• 10 AM to 3 PM: Photos With Santa in Suite B8, presented by the Kiwanis Club of Mt. Washington Valley. Photos are $12 for one or $10 each for two or more.
• 11 AM: The Bring A Friend Foot Parade, starting at Banana Republic and ending at The Gazebo. Participants receive a free gift, and a "Cheer Off" for the "Most Christmas-y Costume" awards a $100 Settlers Green gift card.
• 11 AM to 3 PM: A Tuckerman Brewing beer garden on The Green, an ice carving by State of Maine Ice Carving Champion Jason Bluck, and a petting zoo with animals from Foxx Run Farm outside Books-A-Million
• Noon to 3 PM: DJ Corey Genest under The Gazebo
• 10 AM to 8 PM: Dave's New England Food Co. food truck outside Famous Footwear

The page also lists group oracle card readings with Anjali Rose in Suite K15, a bake sale from Odyssey of the Mind outside Old Navy, and a meet-and-greet with dogs from Assistance Canine Training Services outside Michael Kors. One note: the page gives the oracle reading times two different ways (10 AM, noon and 2 PM in one place, and 10 AM, 11 AM and noon in another), so check on arrival if that is on your list.

How the deals work

Settlers Green describes several ways to save during the week:

• Bring A Friend pin: Exclusive deals are activated by showing a Bring A Friend pin at checkout. Pins are free at Customer Service and in participating stores.
• In-store events: Many stores run their own events or offer free gifts with purchase.
• Coupon book: The year-round coupon book has over 30 store offers, with printed copies at Customer Service.
• Daily deals: Many stores run friends-and-family promotions, though not all are posted online, so ask a store associate.
• Discount programs: Some stores offer military, student and teacher discounts, and every Tuesday is Senior Day, with discounts for ages 55 and up.

Raffles also run all week. From November 6 to 11, one winner is drawn each day at noon for a gift card.

Where to eat

Settlers Green says a big tent on The Green will have heated seating open to anyone on Saturday, November 7. Its event page lists these eateries and hours:

• The Met Coffeehouse: daily, 9 AM to 5 PM
• Barley & Salt: daily from 11:30 AM
• Mountain Moose Noodles: daily from 11 AM
• Sip & Sweets: daily from 10 AM
• Black Cap Grille: Tuesday through Sunday from noon
• Cheese Louise food kiosk: Nov 7, 11 AM to 5 PM
• Boba Beach Bubble Tea kiosk: Nov 7, 8 AM to 5 PM

Giving back while you shop

Settlers Green is again home to Angels & Elves, a local nonprofit that provides holiday gifts to more than 600 underserved children in the area. You can donate at Suite B2. Settlers Green says it donates $1 from every Pick-Up Pass sold to the program. A Veterans Remembrance Walk, across from Barley & Salt, is open every day during the event.

More holiday events at Settlers Green

If you can't make the week of November 6, the Settlers Green events calendar lists more holiday events:

• Festival of Trees: Friday, November 27 through Saturday, December 12, run by the Carroll County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program
